I Am Enough

If I have to say it ten, twenty or a hundred times a day

From the moment I get up until I kneel down at night to pray

Even if I have to shout it from the highest mountain top

Or sing it to myself as I sit in the car at the traffic stop

I Am Enough

Even when I disappoint others and often times myself

I am still blessed, full of love, worth and good health

Even when I look in the mirror and don’t like what I see

I can’t let that false image destroy the value of me

I Am Enough

So instead of feeling like I don’t measure up to the rest

I vowed to tackle each new day giving it my best

I am made in His image, I am God’s child

That alone says I am enough and makes me smile
